Jacqui-Lou Designs

Jacqui Edwards is a freelance surface designer known for her bold, vibrant patterns that bring energy and joy to fabrics, stationery, and home décor. Working across both traditional and digital mediums — including watercolour, pen and ink, and photography — she transforms her artwork into distinctive repeat patterns that celebrate colour and texture.

 

Originally from a farm in the heart of Cheshire, Jacqui finds endless inspiration in the natural world and her travels. Her designs often reflect a deep appreciation for organic forms and expressive colour palettes that capture the beauty and spontaneity of nature.

 

After graduating from John Moores University in 1998 with a degree in Fashion & Textiles (Surface Pattern), Jacqui built over two decades of experience in the textile industry, specialising in both digital and silk screen printing. In 2019, she founded Jacqui Lou Designs to focus on creating her own collections and sharing her unique artistic voice with a wider audience.
